March For Our Lives had a rapid response direct action demanding that the Senate halts the vote on the nomination of the empty Justice seat on the Supreme Court in order to honor RBG’s dying wishes and be representative of the American people in this election season. This day of action was coordinated nationwide with major cities across the country advocating for this cause to their senators.

Early in the morning on August 4, we dropped 32 banners saying "Invest in Communities, Divest in Police" across Texas. Our banner drop event was very successful in its execution, from beginning to end. We had activists all over Texas involved as we fought for a necessary change. Watch the video bellow to learn more.

The MFOL Social Media and Communications Training was wonderful. Several activists across Texas attended and learned about content creation and amplification. Additionally, they gained access to several MFOL tools and style guides.

The MFOL Texas Outreach and Partnership Training had an amazing training turnout! We had several activists attend to learn about different outreach techniques and their successes. We had a wonderful time watching our amazing outreach team!
South Central Our Power Hub |

MFOL Texas had a huge victory on Monday as the South Central Our Power Hub turned out fantastic! We invited Grammy Award winning artist Peter Cottontale to give us a 20 minute concert where he shared several of his amazing songs. We also invited Black Lives Matter Houston founder Ashton Woods to inspire us with his guidance and experience. Our two guests went above and beyond and created a truly wonderful and outstanding experience. We ended the night with a phone bank and a mental health session, as it is crucial to take care of your mental health so you can stay a happy strong activist. We can't wait for our next one!
